Triggered is a song about tortured love where you wanted to be with someone badly (and ached for them to love you back) yet they drove you crazy with their indecisiveness about commitment....they could be so loving and hot and then they could change on a dime and be so indifferent to you. Their emotional swings drove you crazy.
But hey, we bring own complexities to any relationship. Our baggage can add more fuel to the fire. The combination of two complex humans, along with our histories, baggage and expectations all adds a strange mix into the pot of "us". Sometimes we are as much to blame with our own approach-avoidance towards intimacy. And yes, I made them crawl through my minefields..... I own that...
